Setting it straight

• A story about the Sacramento County parks system on Page B1 Wednesday incorrectly reported that the Board of Supervisors agreed to support a sales tax increase to raise money for parks. The supervisors directed staff to draft language for state legislation that would allow the county to ask voters to approve a 0.1 percent sales tax increase in November 2012 to generate revenue for parks. The board will decide Aug. 9 whether to pursue that legislation, after reviewing the wording.
